-- How do you make Visor replacement buttons? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13230)
I would like to replace the power button on my Visor with (preferably) a clear button... maybe even try to do some "Edge emulation" by adding an LED as well.
I can't find any place that sells them. I've tried http://shop.brando.com.hk, and Brando said that he didn't make any Visor molds when he first started production. I've tried a few other sites as well, such as http://ohtani.cup.com
These buttons do exist. An example can be seen here:
http://www.fureai.or.jp/~mori-t/b01_easy/easy_nr.html
The customizer mentions that he got the info for creating the Visor buttons here: http://www.eastpress.co.jp/palm/hacking/
Unfortunately, those instructions are now only available in a book and that book is written in Japanese.
Any suggestions as to how to make a mold, and what is material is used to create the buttons?
Thanks in advance.
Molding plastic
I would think that unless somebody else has a better idea that friendly plastic (low-temp moldable plastic) would probably work. I don't know if they make it in clear, but they make some interesting colors.

Thank You
Thanks for the Info on Friendly Plastic.
Do you think it sets up strong enough to be used as a power button?
