-- soundsgood 2.0? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13169)
I am very interested in getting a soundsgood style mp3 player for my prism, but its a huge investment. Basically, i am wondering if there are any rumors about a next version of the soundsgood? Any talk of expansion or any of that?
what SoundsGood to me...
Haven't heard any rumors, but here's what would make me reach for my plastic, in case the Good folks are listening:
1. Mac support (how hard can that be?)
2. Slot for Smart Media cards (which would get around the no Mac support issue for those of us with USB Smart Media Reader/Writers)

Love My Sounds Good
I have to tell you that I absolutely love my SG MP3 Player.
I purchased the energy clip and use it at the gym every day. It takes about 2 minutes to load all my songs (27 songs as of last night).
While I agree that extra memory i.e. expansion would be great, I am very happy with the almost two hours of music I can currently download.

Cool. I currently have a 64mb Rio 300, and its great, but i would much rather have my player in my visor (one less thing to carry)
What would be amazing would be a smart media slot, and perhaps direct access to the flash in the device too. It could act as a sorta soundsgood/memplug crossed. Store however many mp3's, apps, etc you want.
I love my soundsgood too. One thing I wish I could do is move mp3s from the soundsgood to the computer. I know this will probably never happen but I'd like to move songs gradually to/from my home/work computer. My only other gripe is that on occasion I turn it on by accident when putting the snap cover on the back. That really chews up batteries!
You can move files from the sg to the computer
Open up your soundsgood desktop and open up the sg transfer application on your visor.
After the desktop reads all of the songs you have loaded on the module, select one you would like to transfer, right click, then select ( I think) transfer option.
Press the move it button and you now have that file on the desktop!
hope this helps-
john
