Visorgirl posted that she received her Visor today and ordered on 9/17. I ordered on 9/14 and I am two days from Fremont and she is one day via UPS.
If I don't get mine tomorrow, I'm going to really be upset because I was told by CSR (I know I've read the posts) that mine shipped on Friday. Interestingly, I was charged on Friday on my credit card.

Any lawyers monitoring.....what is the legal ramifications of stating FIFO shipping and then not actually performing to claim? Can we ask for a discount? Wishfull thinking...I'm certain mine will be here tomorrow.

HS give preferences to girls. Every gentleman would do that. Wouldn't you?

Yes, however they really are above and beyond in this case because they haven't charged her credit card yet.

Cool

RSG... just chill, man. While they ARE shipping out orders in a FIFO method, all orders from the 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th went out on the same day. You may have ordered on the 14th, I ordered on the 16th, but the only difference in whether or not you get your Visor before I do, is your proximity to Fremont, California. For that matter, the shipping days that are shown on that colored US map that was posted here are AVERAGE days to ship. Your mileage may vary, depending on how "with it" the UPS personnel are on the path between Fremont and wherever you are. I wouldn't sweat it if your Visor is a day or two late. Just relax, and bask in the knowledge that your Visor IS en route!!! I know I am.

Wizard22,

I'm cool it's just as usual frustrating with some of these posts that state Handspring is only shipping 150 units a day etc that causes all the confusion. How are you so certain that they shipped 3 or 4 days worth of early orders in one day? Just curious if you've got the inside track or something?

Part of my delay could also be cases ordered and perhaps will be contained with the Visor although I doubt that because credit card has not been charged.

However, UPS does guarantee ground shipping from business to business of two days from Fremont to my location. My beef (if the Visor doesn't arrive on Wed) might be with UPS but I'll make that call after I've seen the tracking number hopefully tomorrow.

Also, when I'm whining don't take me too seriously....the lawyer comment was in jest.

I'm in the same boat, ordered on 9/14 and in the 2 day (light blue) zone. I haven't yet received my Visor. When I called to confirm my order earlier I was told that it 'should have' shipped on Friday or Monday (note no Tuesday mentioned). All the 9/14 orders were probably shipped out by Monday because the CSR told me this only based on the 9/14 date.

So I don't think we have anything to worry about until it doesn't come tomorrow.

By the way, strangely enough, he was the same CSR I ordered from. And it was almost 5 weeks to the minute from when I ordered, and last called a CSR(!)

Cool

After waiting on hold for 35 hours my CSR told me that they are shipping the cool colors first (ice, green and orange). Graphite and blue visors won't be shipped until Decemeber. Sorry guys.

Heh... I WISH I had the inside track. Unfortunately, I've just gleaned this knowledge from multiple postings in this forum, and the fact that my credit card has been charged...
