What happened to the newsgroups? (privatenews.microsoft.com, http://communities.microsoft.com/ne...ew&clsid=us)

For the past three days, I've been getting "invalid password" errors. Have they been shut down?

Maybe the newsgroups were on the same servers that were causing all of the recent problems they were having with IM.
