Visor Deluxe screen not responding to stylus...
So I dropped my Visor Deluxe the other day. It was one of those things where the damned thing slipped out of my hand and then I looked like a fool juggling it in mid-air trying desperately to regain hold of it before it went crashing to the floor. Surprisingly, it looked undamaged. It still turns on. The screen works fine. The buttons work fine. The one thing that happened, however, is that the screen now no longer responds to touch, rendering the Visor virtually useless.
Does anyone know if this could be as simple as a connection coming loose inside the Visor? Or is it a total loss? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I know the Deluxe is not, by any means, the latest & greatest, but I use it all the time and would really like to have it back and functioning again.
Thanks!
Gordy

I recently had the same problem with my VDX. I went ahead and got a Prism to replace it. I was playing with my VDX the other day and it works fine again (which is great because I was having problems adding songs to my Soundsgood with my Prism).
I had done a hard reset, but can't verify if that's what fixed it.
I also can't say if it won't happen again.
If you have everything backed up you might try various forms of reset before you crack it open. It can't hurt.

I'm having the same problem...Visor doesn't acknowledge stylus
Could it be a software conflict? I'd think that if it were, I"d get an error message, not the whole thing shutting down.
I even did a hard reset and it wanted me to use the stylus to touch the screen (to calibrate the stylus, like in the welcome function.) It still won't acknowledge the stylus, and wouldn't even turn off.
Any other ideas? It's only a month old, so I hate to think the only answer is to get a new one..
