Unhappy

Has anybody removed scratches from there Visor, and how did you do it? I have some very fine scratches on my screen. How did you remove them. And did the product work? Thanks.

Lightbulb

I don't think you can get rid of the scratches completely, but I followed advice from another post and tried some auto polishing compound made by turtle wax. If you use a small amount, on a soft damp cloth, (or your finger tip), you can diminish the scratches a lot, so they are much less noticeable. After, I protected the screen with some carnuba wax, and a piece of ultra clear tape placed right across the bottom part of the screen where the graffiti area is. The tape is so clear that the only part that really shows up are the edges of the tape.

I wouldn't use any polisher that contains "petroleum distillates", they may cause fogging of the screen.

The screen on the Visor is quite soft compared to other palm products, and definately more 'scratchable' IMO.

Following another post on VC, you can try Allsop CD Cleaner. Another member had success in using this but I can't seem to find the actual post.

Good Luck.
