Has anyone been able to beam to palms?
I still haven't been able to hail tech support, and I have tried doing a soft reset, holding it further away and trying a iiix and a v. ANY OTHER IDEAS????????????

I've successfully beamed stuff back and forth between my III and the Deluxe. Assuming that you've made sure both have the beaming capability up and running, and that you've got the "waiting for information" message on one and the "sending" on the other, then it may just be that there's something you are trying to beam that you shouldn't. What I would recommend you do to verify the IR setup on both units is working is to create a "business card" and hold the address button down and beam it from one to the other. If this works, then it's just a question of you violation the IR laws of Palm, so to speak. If it doesn't, then check the IR setup in the pref menus of each device and make sure beaming/beam receive is on.
