I'm not sure if any of you were there but James made a GREAT presentation on the different springboards and products available for the visor. HPUG meets the second sat. every month at HAL-PC headquarters.

Bloody shame i couldnt go. But i must say, im honored to live in the same city as James.

I read the article James wrote with the transcript of his appearance. I just wanted to thank him for the last bit on 'co-existance' between Palm and Visor users (and TRG of course.) I have never understood why Palm and Visor users would argue against each other?? And the brief words James says about 'being on the same ship' crystalized my thoughts.
Thanks James. Let's hope people listen. To continue and compete within the PalmOS devices is just what Microsoft would want to see, a breakdown in one of the PalmOS's major advantages, co-operation between developers and users.
*blushes* Thanks for the kind words everyone! We had about 50 people total there, so it was a great turnout. I also got to meet a few of you as well.

I don't live in the Houston area, but I was glad to read James' talk. I second the appreciation of James' remarks about Palm and Visor owners. I took the plunge last week and ordered a blue VDx, and so very soon my wife and I are going to be a Palm-Visor "hybrid" household. The last thing I think anybody wants is to have Palm and Handspring products diverge -- that gives Micro$oft way too much of a presence in the market.
Thanks, James!
