Faster Hotsynchs with Windows XP

Is it just me, or is hot synching with Windows XP much faster than under Windows 98SE or ME? Not only do they seem to fly by faster, my battery life has increased substantially, which tells me that, indeed, it is working alot faster on through-put.

Has anyone had a similar experience?

yeah, fast

It is faster for me too. It is really noticeable when installing huge programs (like Datebk4 preview releases).

I've noticed a LITTLE faster, not much. Probably because my internet does seem noticalby faster, making AvantGo faster. . .
