So I am developing a Stylus with a pen and reset pin hidden inside (similar to the Pentopia Chameleon), by modifying the black stick included with the Visor. The main body will be brass, but the ends will be made out of the stick.

The question is, would anyone be interested in purchasing them? Also, would people prefer a mechanical pencil instead of a pen? What do you think would be a reasonable price for such a stylus? Any input would be appreciated.

I have no doubt that people are interested in such a stylus. I'm just waiting impatiently for a vendor to release one so I don't have to use the lightweight plastic stylus any more.

You'll have a tough job selling it though as you'll have to compete with PDA Panache, E&B iPoint, Pilot Pen's Pentopia, and others. None of these vendors have their Visor-specific stylus ready yet but they are all predicting that they will have them available soon (December 1999?).

Maybe you wont have as many problems as handspring starting up your biz LOL J/K

I think a pen would be better myself

I have money set aside to buy the first 'improved' stylus that hits the market. E-mail me if you decide to sell them.

I too would be very interested in a pen stylus combination that fits in the visor slot. I understand from the previous handspring page that they have one forthcoming but when? so when you develop yours, we'll be looking forward to it.
