I have had 3 Prisms in the last week all with the SAME problem. The connector on the bottom of the unit for hot symc had come loose and dropped inside the unit.

The first unit it happen the first day.
The second unit arrived that way.
The third unit it occurred the first time I set it in the cradle.

The fourth unit arrived today. I am totally frustrated and ready to give up. Handspring has been very nice and quick about getting replacements to me, but it doesn't seem to matter, they all so far have the same problem

Anyone else seen this???
