It looks like CardAccess has updated their website and now the ThinModem Plus is available for $149.95. There's also a future product, slated for May '01, called the Audible Advisor. The Audible Advisor will allow the user to download 4.4 hours of audio files on to 16 MB of flash memory. Looks interesting.

I ordered my ThinModem Plus last week from an inactive link, posted on this board, and received an email confirmation of shipment. I should receive my ThinModem Plus tomorrow, 2/21/01. I will post my initial comments when I receive the modem.

Can programs be run from the 8mb of extra memory on the modem? Or is it like CF which is only for storage? Thanks

My understanding is that it will be just like the Handspring Flash Module. It's supposed to include the FileMover app, too.
