-- Runtime 1.5.1 Problem (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2976)

Question

Has anyone else had trouble with Runtime graphing properly on the Visor? It keeps track of the battery life just fine, but it won't graph anything useful. Bars get me a blank graph, and the line is usually nearly straight, even though the voltage on the batts has dropped massively since they were installed.

Please share your experiences with this program on the Visor.

Thanks.

Version 1.5 works fine for me. The graphing settings change as they should, and the line varies and seems to be in sync with what ATool reports as well.

Check the Min and Max voltage settings under Runtime's Preferences. You may have too large a range thus causing the "flatness".

Using NiMH's in my Visor, Runtime is set to 2.2V Min and 2.6V Max, giving me a nice looking graph.

I think that something must have been interfering with the proper operation of Runtime, because my graph started working perfectly yesterday for no apparent reason.

It did seem to correlate with the installation of a new 8MB Flash Module. I don't fully understand how it all works, but after I copied a lot of things, including Runtime, on to the flash module, it just started working. Hmmmm.....

Thanks for the replies so far, though. If anyone has anymore insight into this, please let me know!
