Running Windows 2000 on a ThinkPad 770X. Has someone been able to successfully do an IR synch?

I've managed to get IR synching working under windows 98, using IRLink from http://www.iscomplete.com/, but it sounds like it will not be possible to perform this amazing feat under windows2000.
