Question

Does anyone here use the NuShield screen protectors? If so how do you think they work? Is it worth the price, or would you recommend writerights. Are they (NuShields) easy to install, (harder/easier than writerights) that is all for now. Oh if you want to check out the NuShield check it out at http://www.nushield.net.

Others on this board have been leery of the screen protectors held in place mechanically by the case edges.

I 1st tried the WriteRights for the Visor but didn't like the textured surface that obscured & dulled the legibility of the screen somewhat.

Today I bought a package of the WriteRights marketed for the Palm IIIc, color screen. They fit the Visor perfectly. The regular WriteRights have a textured surface that is intended to reduce glare on non-color creens. The WRs for color screens
are clear and do not have the texture.

I really like them. Not being textured the stylus moves across them easier. There is maybe more glare but I am normally holding the Visor in one hand & it's easy to adjust the tilt for the glare.

Where did you buy them? On the web? Can you give us the address? How much did you pay?

Thanks

Al

You can get them directly from www.conceptkitchen.com I got mine today at BestBuy, cost $25 for 12, "a years supply".

BTY BestBuy has the regular textured ones for Visor $5 off, today is probably last day for that price.

So Charo, your saying that instead of buying the writerights for the VDx, buy them for the IIIC, they feel and look better other than some glare. Thanks for your help everyone, oh BTW has anyone here use screen protectors held in place mechanically by the case edges?

Wink

i'm using home made screen protectors made from transparencies cut slightly larger than screen and slid between edges of screen and case on three sides they work great with only a lil glare.

If you are buying WriteRights, the best price can usually be found online at http://www.outpost.com or http://www.buy.com
