CF-Modul / Prism

Hi,

i want to buy a CF-adaptor for my Prism. Saw that there
are several product on the market (Innopocket, Matchbook ...).

Am i right, that all these products are the same incl.
the software (o.k., the FlashPlus adaptor has these
programs in it�s Flash...)?

20$ for the matchbook-adaptor is a good price. Does
anyone of you use it? Any problems?

So is it possible to start appl. or load images
directly from the CF?

You are correct. Functionally, the Innopocket and Matchbook adapters are identical. They run the same software and support the same range of CF cards. The only major differences are:

- The FlashPlus has onboard flash for the drivers and file-mover software.
- The MD-001 leaves a portion of the CF card extending out from the adapter.
- The Matchbook drives are (I believe) available in a variety of colors.

I've heard from many satisfied Matchbook customers. You may want to peruse the archives of the flashadapter-forum (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flash...-forum/messages) to see what some of those folks have said.

Using the new VFS software (currently still in beta) it is possible to run applications from the CF card. In addition, applications such as SplashPhoto can load images directly from CF. There are many other "memory card enabled" applications and once again, the flashadapter-forum is currently the best place to learn about them

It is a god price, and I have one (on my second, gave my MD-oo1 to a friend and bought a flush adapter).

I preordered the matchbbokdrive before they were even available, and have been using the Kopsis software since it was beta. Everything works great.

Also, I am currently running at least 25 programs from a 128mg card, and have accessed almost 200 pics (13mg) of pictures at one time, all from the card (as well as the program). I am also accessing 5 or 6 different Bibles (another 13mg), and use my cf card as a backup.

Like Dave mentioned, check out the flashadapter-forum. Anything you might want to know is there. YOu won't find better support for ay software either, and I've seen some good support (thanx Dave).
