I have been using my Visor for about a month (syncing via USB at work) and I finally received my serial cradle. However, I cannot get the Palm Desktop software to install.
The following is what I submitted to tech support at Handspring. Can anyone offer assitance?

I have a Toshiba 440CDT running Windows '95 (128MB RAM). When installing the Palm Desktop software with a serial cradle the following pathologies occur.

First, the cradle is not "seen" at the com port 1 (which is valid, and works with other serial applications). Second, during the installation process the following error
message dialog box appears

The text within the box is as follows:

An error occured during the move data process: -119
Component:HotSync\WINSYS files
File Group: SelfReg DLLs
File: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\OLEAUT32.DLL

Clicking OK simply returns to the main menu offered by the Handspring CD.
