Question Prism vs Pro

I am interested in a new PDA I currently have a 2mb visor with a 8mb springboard. With the Prism and Pro both the same price. Can any one give compelling evidence why they would not buy the old Prism?

Thanks,

Lee

I certainly couldn't think of one...am now happily playing with my new Prism...gave my old VDX to my poor sister-in-law.

Cheers

With all of the memory options out there, memory is a non-issue. I
filled up the 8megs internal in my Prism, then a 16meg springboard. I
have since purchased a MemPlug and went thru a 32meg card and am now
on a 64meg card.

Go with the Prism. The readability is better and everything looks
better in color.

I love my Prism. I just bought a FlashPlus and a 192 MB CF card. (The Kopsis software works great and I required a flush module so I could use the snap on lid with my case).
Two issues to consider:
Outdoor viewing in full sunlight is very difficult. I don't use it much outdoors in bright sunlight, esp. in the Seattle area . Also, and I don't know about the Pro in this respect, but I had problems every day with my deluxe when it was twilight - it was hard to read both with the backlight and without the backlight.
Is a little bigger and heavier than the deluxe (and presumably) Pro. I found it was just enough bigger than the deluxe to cause a wardrobe change for me. I went to cargo pocket pants from dockers as it was too tight a fit in the front pocket for me. BTW, I love the cargo pockets

Good luck and have fun.

dessa,

Dockers have come out with their Mobile Pants. I think they have like
7 pockets for keys, change, PDA, cell phone, etc...You might want to
check them out wherever Dockers are sold. I haven't looked yet. I
have a couple of pairs of the original Dockers Mobile that added two
pockets, one on each leg, that pretty well concealed that I was
carrying my PDA and cell phone.

Unhappy

The one downside (for some) to Dockers Mobile Pants is that they only come in relaxed fit--which admittedly is probably Dockers' best-selling style--but leaves those of us who look better in, say, classic fit, out of luck. If you (like me) want the new Mobile Pant line available in classic fit, call 1-800-DOCKERS or go to www.dockers.com and let them know.

Ok, I'm off the soapbox now.
