I have been checking both VisorCentral and GeoDiscovery all weekend in hopes of more info about the Geode. I thought the official product announcement was to be on Friday? Anyone know what happened?

No major annoucements on Friday - they just annouced some new content partners. Shipping is still scheduled for October/November - they are entering phase 2 of the hardware beta testing this week.

I had a long interview with their CEO and VP of Marketing, which I should get up towards the end of the week. It has been delayed because right now we are preparing for the PCIA show this Wednesday.

Hey,

I just visited the Geodiscovery page (beta test section) and there has been a change (as of 9/26/00 9:30mst). They are alive over there!!!

Could it be that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that we will be seeing further beta testing (leading to an actual product)?
