-- Eyemodule 1 vs Eyemodule 2? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=13769)
creole:
I played with my brother's eyemodule 2 for a few days, and I was impressed with the resolution. However, after reading all of the tips and holding it as still as I gosh darned could, I could never shake the swirling edges effect. I bought his Eyemodule1 from him and have been satisfied. I take pictures of my friends. I use mine as a toy, and nothing more. $79 is the price of a couple of video games, and if you are looking for a toy, this is a great one to get without having to kick yourself about the price.
hmmm...we ll at least I could give it a go then if it doesn't work right I could just send it back.
Eyemodule I vs II
I've posted a few of my EyemoduleII shots..
I just purchased this one, after returning the original. The 2nd generation unit is MUCH better. Blocks has just updated their software, which made it even better.. I've only enhanced one picture with the included software. Overall, this module takes pretty good pics in good lighting.. I love mine, but I'm not using it for anything but quick pictures of the kids, and other fun stuff... I wouldn't recommend it for major detail.
I don't have any reason *not* to love it.... It also shoots little video clips.. I've also heard you can hold a golf telescope-like instrument to the lens, and get GREAT zoom effects...
Good luck.

The picture with the flowers looks very nice even with the slight fade effect. i may have to reconsider in favor of getting an eyemodule 2
