Can't find program

I have a quickword document that I can see on my desktop in Windows explorer, but can't retrieve it on my palm, no matter how many times I install it (whether via explorer or though quickoffice desktop). However, my hotsync log says that it is installed every time. Any ideas?

Also, I seem to remember a windows palm simulator, but can't find it at Palmgear, palmspot, etc. Am i dreaming?

The Quickword document needs to be viewed by Quickword... is that installed on your handheld?

If you have a Visor, use Handspring's PalmOS Emulator. For Palm's version, check here.

yeah, quckword is on the handheld, but isn't showing any documents with this title.

What about your categories list? If it's set to 'Personal' or something and your document is 'unfiled', you won't see it.

Are you referring to the Info menu that you access from the app launcher screen? The Quickword documents are stored as PDB files. Only PRC files show in the Info listing.

You need to look for the document from inside the Quickword app on the handheld. Make sure the categories on the handheld match the categories in the Quickoffice Desktop Manager.

Both. And when I do a global search for the document, I get a fatal error.

Maybe you need to delete Quickword from the handheld and reinstall it. Sounds like something might be corrupted.
