shimmer
hey,
i love my edge, it's that much better than the visor i used for over two years! however, whenever there is some form of greyscale on the screen (silverscreen, images, even in games!) i get a shimmer effect.
has anybody figured out a way of alleviating this similar to the fix used on the prism awhile back?
thanks.

I Use Afterburner to set the screen ration to 1:1. Works Great!

Use a DA or a hack to repair this.
Hey
On www.palmgear.com just look up screen shimmer and you will get results. The only thing is is that I find hacks and DA's to not work right. It is handspring's fault that this is happening. Try playing Ababall on your edge and you'll see what I mean.
Cheers

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.

I found that adjusting the contrast helped, but was annoying because you'd have to have different settings for different programs. The most effective solution for me was, as posted above, using Afterburner to regulate the screen (and the clockspeed, two, two uses, ah ah ah!)
