Hot sync error

So I got the following message when hotsyncing I've never had it beofre (and added no new software recently) - any idea how to troubleshoot?

I've had this problem too! maybe once a month I get this same error:

- The Palm Desktop does not support events before 1970. The following event was moved to 1970: j, 12/31/1970, Untimed

or some other random letter. needless to say I don't try to input events before 1970 (or 2000) and don't just use entries of one letter!

this (mildly) irks me so much I mentioned it to tech support when discussing a difft issue recently. the guy very helpfully told me to delete the item and re-sync - um, duh!

any handspring brains out there to tell me how to make sure it doesnt happen again, or what I'm doing wrong?!?

You are not alone. I have read about this on this board before. Here is a link to a thread that discusses this issue. Take a look and see if any of it sounds familiar.

You can also do a search of the Discussion boards and try to find more information.
