If I use Get Info on my Handspring it says that the Backup Module only has 52K on it. I've always assumed that there was compression going on when backing up to that module...no wonder it takes so long!

So if I upgrade to 16MB internal I'll only need 104K in a backup module...wonder if the backup module's memory can be expanded.

The 52K you are seeing is the size of the software that is on the ROM in the Backup Module, not the size of the memory that the Visor RAM is backed up to. That memory is 8MB and is not visible to the Palm OS. Hence the need for the special Backup program on the module ROM.

Its there, $89 2 to 8 meg, $129 8 to 16 meg (platinum,prism,edge only)
