Problem with cracked screen
My Visor Deluxe dropped for the first time yesterday hitting a hard floor at a ht of about 18". Though the screen was covered and the device was in a leather slip case, but it didn't help much.
The problem I'm having now is, that I need my data syncd up before sending it in for repairs. Unfortunately however, at powerup, I have it password protected.
I am not having luck syncing it, since it appears I have to enter password on the via the un-responsive screen before I can go any further.
I have tried both the USB and serial cradle, and two different PCs, and I am getting same result on the combinations.
I'll appreciate any help with this.

My only suggestion is based on how much data would you loose if you did not back it up? When was your last back up?
If you are not going to loose too much, just send it in.

This is one of the lessons I keep trying to drill into my co-workers- these things are great, but fragile. You WILL scratch the screen, damage the unit, have to do a hard reset, etc. so back up as often as you can, in as many ways as you can!
