As for me, the Visor's biggest selling points were native USB and the Backup Module - Palm still doesn't have either one.

Methink Chris Tychansky from handheldinterfaces is a bitter. Talk about sour grapes.

Definately. That's some of the most pathetic whining I've ever seen from an alleged professional.

For me, the simplicity of the Visor is what I want.

Some of my associates have Ipaqs or Jornadas. While I'm sure I could eventually use it as well as the Visor, it is so much easier to do what I need on the Visor. For most of the day, I never have to launch any app that's not on a hardware button. Its quicker to find the name and number of a contact. It's quicker to add a new calender item. Etc., etc.

Plus I have all sorts of little, esoteric apps for work that I just couldn't find for the PocketPC. ...and they are usually inexpensive shareware of freeware.

I don't want to play MP3s, I just want to work.

A visor with a backup module fits the bill for me.
