Has anyone seen any specs which indicate how long one can expect the backlight to work and under why type of usage patterns?
I find that I use my backlight frequently and often for long (30+ minutes) periods of time.
I seem to recall the documentation that came with my Sharp Wizard giving stats on its backlight that didn't promote heavy usage. (Not like there was a reason to...)

Calvin's FAQ implies that the backlight uses about 30 milliamps. Using the Palm without a backlight is 20mA, with is 50mA. Presumably the Visor has a similar power usage. http://www.palmgear.com/faq/faq.cfm...=51&catID=2
Just to clarify, I'm inquiring as to how long the backlight will continue to function. Kind of like a lightbulb should last for 'x' hours.
I don't really care how long the batteries last... I've been using NiMH's and am happy with that aspect of performance with my usage patterns.

AFAIK they use LED's for backlight, and they probably last longer than I will......
