My Visor arrived essentially DOA. I finally got my Visor yesterday, after a three week wait. Opened it up, put the batteries in, and turned it on. Proceeded to set the preferences and fool around with Grafiti a little. Within 5 minutes of first turning it on, the screen contrast started fading, until there was nothing on the screen anymore.

Ever since then, the thing has been a useless lump that only responds to screen taps with faint clicks. Nothing will show up on the display. Soft resets, hard resets, leaving batteries out overnight, nothing helps. I think this one's going back, unless anyone out there knows any better.
