Do you use screen protectors?

Since my Platinum's screen looks much much better when I take off a writeright, I'm considering not using "protection" ( ) anymore. Does anyone not use a screen protector? Is your screen still ok?

Thunderbird,

Go read my post at http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...?threadid=17519

There's a better protector out there that looks as good as the naked glass. Read my post and buy Brando's protectors!

I've been using plain old 4 guage clear vinyl since day one. I tried WriteRight's and some other DIY alternatives but the clear vinyl works the best as far as I'm concerned. My initial $1.00 investment (for a 12" x 54" piece) yielded a little over 50 protectors and I've only used approximately 10 since January 2000. The one currently in place has been there since April... they wear very little.

I am a firm beleiver in using protection. I use the Wright Rights for the Palm IIIc on my platinum. They don't fit 100% perfctly but 99% works for me. They are clear and don't decrease the sharpnes as the matt finish ones do. Also they seem to last longer. I am on month 5 and still can see clearly as the day I put it on.
