it would bother me because I have logic and fact on my side, yet they consistantly stand behind the people that have lied and stolen from them, its kinda wierd. i need to get that business model in effect. Rob from people to make thier loyalty increase. That would be cool.

Welcome. If you want to join in feel free. But after what Troy put the GD Beta team through for the last few months, this is nothing. You know what they say "Turn around is fair play". So I just thought Troy's insistent behavior should fallow him, if only for a little bit. You see he got very nasty to quite a few people over his version of logic. And I do mean his version! The problem was that his logic turned out to be opinion. Others saw things differently, some agreed with him and some did not. Now he has taken his ranting to the public forums it just seems right that an other opinion should follow him.
In my opinion Geodiscovery put out a functioning product with inadequate software. They tried to fix, but couldn't get it right fast enough. They really messed up! They promised to honor returns up to the thirty days after the day the software worked. Then their seed money dried up, and they couldn't send people back their money, because they didn't have any. They went to the brink of disappearing but did not go over the edge. Now they are trying to make a comeback. No GD is not back yet, but they are trying hard. During all this time Troy has turned every thread in the Beta Team Forum into a rant about how bad GD treated him. When others did not agree he took to calling names. He made such a fuss that people were asking for a moderator to remove him from the forum. Others were taking polls on weather he should be removed. Now he is here and he seems to be expressing a very one sided view of the world.
I just don't feel like letting it rest yet. Someone needs to express the other view. Yes GD did him wrong and a lot of other people too. They sold him a product that did (does) not do what it was supposed to. They spent their money trying to fix it and nearly went out of business. Should Troy be upset? Sure, why not. Should he rant on every thread about it? I don't think so. Do You? Does he have the privilege to call others stupid, etc. for hoping GD makes a come back? Ya, the privilege is his. But common curtesy would have him behave otherwise.
Should I stop ranting about Troy? Yes. Will I? Hey, I've got the same privilege he has. Only I can do it without resorting to name calling. I think his behavior has been deplorable and he should be held accountable.

Also an opinion not based on logic - interesting how we all have our viewpoints isn't it? Nice that we're able to independently form them ourselves without the help of others.

Should I take it from this that in your opinion (and your logic), Troy should rant and rave on every thread about GeoDiscovery how they did him wrong? Interesting logic...
