Cool

I've been using a Palm OS PDA for nearly 2 years and started using my BVD in December. I have more friends calling me up and asking for help with Hotsynching, general usage, software downloads than I know what to do with. I was thinking about running a Tutorial Class on Palm OS/Visor basics, and even an intermediate class on downloads, modem synching, etc.

I wondered if anyone else is doing this, and has any already printed materials, or websites to access for something like this.

Aloha!

Lightbulb

A web site that you might find useful - http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/palm_computing

For a good introductory book, I like - http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/palmpilot2/

For the Visor owners, I don't think you can beat this site.

Actually, I think a good video would go a long way for many people. This is especially true because of the number of folks using these things who don't own a Mac or PC (and are not familiar with how one interacts with software).

CompUSA has something to teach you about the Palm and they charge a nice $60 bucks for it. My dear god, that's about 3 good programs and if you can't figure out how to use a palm in a few days' of use you don't deserve one

Charge them $50 and let them know what a good deal that is.
