Unhappy

Like many others, my Graphite Visor has the "back bulge/creaky case" problem (meaning the case at the base of the springboard slot bulges out slightly).

I had considered a drop of glue or something to stick it to the springboard slot.

Has anyone found any solution besides sending it back for a refurb (which I won't do - would rather just live with it if I can't fix it.

I must be misunderstanding exactly where the problem is -- I can't imagine what you would glue to what...

On the back of the Visor, just above the Handspring logo. Between that and the springboard slot. The plastic of the case bulges out slightly, and I can see that the actual springboard slot (where the pins are) inside is metal.

I was thinking of gluing the plastic of the case against the metal of the springboard slot.

Does this bother anybody else, and has anybody done anything about it?

I've seen plenty of posts before to know that I'm not the only one with the "problem", I'm just wondering what's been done about it.

I too had the creaky case syndrome. The easiest solution is to call handspring and get a replacement. I got my replacement two days after I called them. I was also pleasantly surprised when I found a deluxe stylus in the replacement.
