New InnoGear MP3 Player...

You guys are gonna love this player !!!
http://www.innogear.com/dmx.html

It works with Windows, Mac (including OSX) and even Linux !!!

The Dion DMX player packs such functions as an MP3 player, voice recorder, portable data storage device, image editor, as well as a Clock/Alarm function, and truly makes this player a first-of-a-kind in several aspects. In addition to the numerous capabilities of the DMX, it also offers up to 256MB of internal memory, a slim compact design, full graphic LCD, bookmarking features, and a fully customizable equalizer, all built into the player.

All these features can be accessed and fully utilized across multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, and even Linux, making portable MP3 players accessible to any computer user. The DMX player provides features and capabilities not found in even the most advanced and expensive MP3 players offered by competitors. It includes an easy to use USB cable for the computer which allows for quick recognition of the DMX as an additional hard drive on any computer, whether it is Windows, Mac, or Linux based.

We will have the DMX player available in August 19th with 128MB of internal memory for only $149. In addition, a 256MB and 64MB model will be offered starting in October. It measures in at a tiny 2.2 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches, and weighs in at just 30 grams. The DMX player is compatible with Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP, MacOS (v. 8.6 or higher), and Linux. The DMX Player is bundled with a CD with additional software, necklace for carrying the player, USB cable, 1 x AAA battery, users manual, and earphones.

This doesn't appear to be a springboard module.

I'm still waiting for the skin/theme editor for my minijam, any news posted on their website about that promised feature??

zipperhead's posting looks like it's from a press release...

I believe his post was sarcastic and stating a fact that this whole thread is OFF topic and does not belong in this forum?

Umm, you're new here right? Might be a good idea to read some longer posts that Toby has been involved with so you can follow your own advice.

Toby may be a lot of things, clueless is not one of them.

That rant was directed towards me? I thought he was just repeating the same sentiment as I, in a harsher tone. Ah well. If it was towards me, I guess I was just too subtle then.

Toby, does that mean you were being... gasp... clueless?

My faith in reality, as I knew it, has been sorely tested.

Now I will become a cynical, cold hearted hack and slump around in unwashed clothes writing meaningless filler for a minor city paper while my great american novel lies forgotton in a drawer gathering dust under a bottle of cheap whiskey.

Not to Toby

I think you misunderstood my point. My reply was NOT directed to Toby, it was directed to Zipperhead because he thought (or he made it seem) that the thing he gave us the link to was a springboard. Okey?

Toby im sure your kewl and your not clueless in what you say

Jonathan

And your faith in reality is restored because I wasn't and read his post correctly.

Funny thing is, if you do a quick search on the web On Dion DMX, you will see that this gizmo seems to come from another company http://www.dgntech.com/ -- Digital Global Network, who like Innogear, also uses Media Perspectives.. (maybe DGN is another name for Innogear? or maybe it's vice-versa??) but I just thought it was interesting that they both use the same company for their announcements, press contacts etc...

I found this text at the bottom of this page: http://www.hometoys.com/releases/aug02/dgn_01.htm

"For information on either the Dion DMX or Digital Global Network, please contact Christine Fullerton, Media Perspectives at [email protected] or 760-804-1720 or visit www.dgntech.com"
