I've been a happy Visor Deluxe user since April of this year.
We are considering adding a Visor (Platinum) to the household.
The deal I have struck with my partner is that we get the Platinum, I use it, and she uses my Deluxe.
Is it possible to transfer all of my current data, programs etc to the Platinum, set up the Platinum desktop on my computer, then clear the Deluxe for her use, installing the Deluxe desktop on her laptop? (and what are the minimum requirements for the desktop installation?
I have a Backup Module if that is a necessary step.

Yes, you can transfer your data to the new unit. Read through some of the other threads where people have done it to avoid making their same mistakes.

Once everything is transferred (and verified on the new unit), a hard reset will clear the old unit making it ready for a new user. After setting up the software on the laptop, you can sync the old unit to get it set up. The process would be the same as setting it up fresh out of the box.
