Can anyone help me ?
I used to synch a Visor DLX with Lotus notes on a laptop without any problem using Easysync 3.0a and Notes 5.0.2b. Until today.
Now Hotsync stops immediately after it started, with the following message:

"HotSync operation started 09/18/00 15:43:31
HotSync Error:
An application failed to respond to a
HotSync notification. Please check the Palm Desktop for details. (8009)"

I use the standard visor programs i.e PalmOs 3.1, Hotsync 3.0.2
(My connection is infrared using the IBM IrCon monitor on the TP,instead of the IrMonitor from MS, and the IrSync designed for the Workpad. I cannot go back to a serial connection as my cradle is at home, far from here. But obviously the IR connection works as the link is established and the Hotsync starts).

I did several soft resets.
I also re installed Palm Desktop on top and tried to Hotsync again. Same problem. So I don t think Notes and Easysync are involved.

Any idea ? Thank you
