Lightbulb

1. A business card scanning module with a slot that you could just slide the card through and the information would automatically store in Address book.
2. A credit/debit card replacement module that has a extendable universal magnetic strip that you could run through all card readers.
3. In the alternative, a credit/debit card reader that you could run cards through to accept payments for money owed to you. Hook it up with some online bank so your account gets credited the next time you sync.
4. A Logitech type hand held scanner module for pictures and OCR.
5. A cellular phone and pager combo module that seamlessly connects with the internet. You have to have pager capabilities as of right now that is the only way it is going to work, so you can save on battery life.
6. A frequent flyer module for true e-tickets. You go up to the gate or counter and point it at their receiver and you are checked in, your itinerary is confirmed, and your mileage is updated. No more having the agent type in a thousand keystrokes to issue an "e-ticket".
7. How 'bout a retro audio-coupler module that you can hold up to any phone for sending data, or to simply dial from you address book.
8. A product bar-code reader that is actually helpful. One that will automatically connect with an Internet site as soon as you scan a product and tell you where to find the best available price -- either on the Internet or at a bricks & mortar location. If this is made you will truly see competive pricing. It could even be made to work with new car VINs that are now bar coded on dashes.
9. A instant messaging module that would allow people within 100 yards of each other to have a real time chat. This would be especially helpful in boring meetings.
10. My fantasy module would include all of the above in one module.
