Hello, my friend just mailed me his visor deluxe along with cradle, I would like to find a upgrade for the OS, some text reader programs, maybe a doodle/drawing program and other programs for my visor, preferrably free, this palm is so old I'm having a hard time finding any still working sites for free software, any help is much appreciated.

You can't update the OS in the Visor, however, you can use the latest Palm Desktop:
http://www.palm.com/us/support/visor/visordeluxe/

There was a patch for Visors that worked around a RAM chip problem in some models. I can't remember for the life of me what it was called-- HSUpdater, maybe?-- if you installed it, the Deluxe's OS would read as 3.1H3 if you didn't have the RAM problem, and (I think) 3.1H3P if you did.
