HELP! Fatal Error

My VisorDx is having problems! It completely froze today (a soft reset wouldn't work), and when I tried to restore it (after a hard reset), it went through the whole restoring process, then said "you must reset your handheld now." Once I pressed reset, the Palm screen came up, then it said fatal error, and I was forced to hard reset AGAIN. I can't seem to get out of this vicious cycle now. Any thoughts. I'm using backupbuddy, and I haven't installed any new software in a little while, so I can't see where this problem would be coming from, as it wasn't happening before today. Any thoughts? What can I do? I hope not to have to restore from scratch.
