I , (perhaps I'm the only one) don't care for the stock Edge stylus. I don't like anything that is flat or mostly flat AND I would really appreciate a reset pin and an ink pen would be great too --
Do I just not know about it or does none exist?

Accessories for the Edge have been slow to appear. I don't know of any after market stylus for the Edge, other then a generic stylus which has stylus/pen/etc. in one unit, but it won't fit in the Edge, but instead clips on to your pocket. Check out PDAPanache.com, among others.

two months ago I asked landware about a 'floating point' version for the edge. they replied back saying "end of summer". So they are working on a version. dunno when it'll come out though.

Send email to the people at landware or your favorite accessory manufacturer. If they don't know there's a need, they won't spend money to make it!
