Why whenever I restore from the backup, Launcher III loses all its preferences?

Exclamation You're lucky it works at all

Many people on this board (me included) have had difficulties using both the backup module and Launcher III, especially if Launcher III is the default. My advice to you is _never_ to backup with Launcher III as the default browser. I've lost my data that way.

Lightbulb

A couple of months ago a similar topic came up on the discussion boards. While I've never had any problem with the backup module and Launcher III, I did have problems with the 8 mg module. At that time someone suggested Launch'em and while I had sworn by Launcher III for the six months I'd had my IVX, Launch'em won me over. It's features make it well worth the small registration price and it does everything that I kept wishing Launcher III would do. Check it out!
