My visor stopped hot syncing correctly today- wouldn't connect with my PC. I tried the hints on the web page, but it still did not work. Called tech support- got someone within 5 minutes. He had me delete something under the USB driver then do a soft reset, and lo and behold it worked!!!
Just wanted to share my good experience!

This has been the traditional method of curing sync problems for some time now. Often a soft reset alone is enough. This message, btw, has not filtered through to all Techs. I finally hung up on one who was insisting that I follow her theory and install/reinstall Lotus Organizer, hunt on Lotus' web page, etc, when the problem was clearly a sync connectivity issue.

One problem though is that it doesn't always stay fixed.

It is nice to see that Handspring (in my recent experience) TS actually answers the phone in a few minutes now.
