-- Datebook disconnects on hot sync to Mac (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1960)
Does anyone else have this problem? My hot sync frequently stops and disconnects when it reaches the date book. I get error code #17425, which I've come to realize simply means that it's disconnected. Sometimes I get it to work on the second try, other times I have to try over and over again.
I use an iMac (original version) at home and a Powerbook G3 at work, and it happens on both. Also, it happens whether I use the USB cradle, serial cradle or beaming with the IrLink 1.5 beta.
My theories are: Do I have a corrupted file somewhere? Could it have something to do with DateBook+? Could it be caused by one of the incompatibilities between DateBook and the Mac desktop software, which doesn't recognize some listings such as untimed events? Any other ideas?
I hotsync to a B&W G3 PowerMac System 8.6 with no problems like you mention. I've entered floating events and daily journal entries into Datebook+. I don't know if that helps you, but hopefully it can narrow down your troubleshooting.
