Maybe others have experienced this. I have replaced my serial port cradle twice because it failed to sync. In the past, I believed the button that you pushed to sync was shoddy and that after repetitive pressings, the circuitry beneath comes loose and no longer syncs. Now, I no longer use the button, but rather I synch by tapping the "local sync" icon on the screen. What happens is that I will sync normally without any problems for weeks on end and then one day, it won't sync, and even if I soft reset and turn off and re-turn on the hot sync manager it won't sync. Then maybe I'll go home for the weekend and come back on Monday and it syncs again with no problem. I've learned to live with this, but has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have a USB cradle and I have had the exact same problem two or three times. I have rebooted, turned the hotsync manager off and back on again, but it decided to start working when it wanted to. If anyone else know why this happens please tell.
