okay, i've covered this before, but what is it with you guys?!?!?!!!

i'm not trying to start a riot with the race question. i don't even personally care. but, in fact, in the world in which we live, it does matter, and especially in a demographic poll. this is what demographics is about. just look at the results we've gotten so far and you'll see why. i know we're all human, and related to chimpanzees and all that crap, but we also have different skin colors and genetic makeup, and in today's societies, those factors usually (sadly) have something to do with our socioeconomic station. not that it should, not that it is always the case, but usually, yes. this is why i asked the question in the first place.

leave your faux political grandstanding at the door. we all want to be better people. but on the grander socioeconomic scale, it takes a whole lot more than "it doesn't matter" in a dinky little discussion forum. just answer the question. if you're not interested in how race enters into it, fine, don't post anything - you'll just make it into the "i don't know what race i am" category, which makes you look silly on a demographic poll. this is science
