Visor Pro & Avantgo.

Hi all. I just bought my VisorPro and already have a problem: yesterday i downloaded avantgo, and after setting up everything i thought:"AWESOME!!". Today, when i start avantgo, EVERYTHING IS BLURRY!! Let's be clear: it's NOT the text of the articles which is blurry, but the headings text. I mean: if you have cnetnews.com channel, look at "front page" and "all news". I can't almost read anything now. It's like all is shown in 16-gray color, but when i turn to 4-gray color nothing changes! I tried to uninstall Avantgo from both Visor and the pc and i've deleted avantgo files in the handspring directory of the pc, but it didnt help. Please help.

Ok, i really think that the images are shown in 16-gray color (i mean:black and white with some gradations) and i want the images to be shown in 4-gray gradations!! HELP!!

Avantgo sucks

Hey,

Don't get me wrong I used avantgo for macintosh for years. But they never upgraded it and I wanted to move on to palm desktop 4.0. I chucked avantgo and switched to isilo. I like it much better and you have more control over it. I have the visor prism and avantgo never let me see full color pics only 256 color. You can tweak isilo much better. I think it's just better. Switch you'll be happy.

Hey,

First you need the convertor from www.isilo.com that you can use to convert pages. Then go to www.turcic.com and click mobile, here you can download a database of page url's that are either formatted for avantgo or are the same pages that get parsed to avantgo's browser during syncronization. Read the instructions carefully. If you have any questions post back.
