I got my Easy Peel Film and I did say I would post my review.
First let me say that they don't by default offer the correct size, but I contacted them and asked if they would cut them to 8cm x 6cm. They said they would at no additional charge! So first off a big thumbs up for customer service! What I didn't realize, in my favor, was that when cut down, each of the sheets I ordered made 2 screen protectors. So since I ordered 2 sets, I really got 8 for $6.50. Beats the hell out of WrightRights.
The fit of the Easy Peel Film was perfect, and it is almost perfectly clear. The screen looks as clear as it does without any screen protection, unlike the WrightRights where the screen gets a fuzzy or blurry look to it. I did get a few bubbles under the film, but because it works on static cling, I could remove and apply it again and again until I got it right. I thought about the previous post mentioning the use of a tiny amount of soapy water to help get the bubbles out....but I am too unsure of myself to get water on the screen of my new Visor.
As for the feel when writing, the tip of my stylus doesn't slide across the screen as smoothly as it did with the WriteRights or just the screen alone. I actually prefer it, I don't feel like the stylus is slipping out from under me, but it is definately not the 'Pen on Paper' we have heard talked about. I has more of a drag to it....but I don't want to make it sound like a negative.
I also wanted to test any effects it might have on handwriting. As should be done when using any screen protectors, I reran the Digitizer first. I wrote for awhile in Memo Pad and didn't notice any change. I did notice I didn't make as many mistakes as I normally do, but I just installed EVEdit hack and perhaps the Graphitte Echo was helping. I can say it didn't effect the regocnition in a negative way.
The only thing I can't comment on was how well it held up....only time will tell.....but being as it is a soft plastic, I would think a change would be required in 1-2 months. Which means I already have 8-16 months supply for a fraction of WriteRight's price!
Overall....I love it! The cost is perfect, the clarity is wonderful, and the feel is top notch. You can order them direct from www.easypeel.com . When I placed my order they didn't accept credit cards, only mail order and strangley enough, faith orders (under $20). When I contacted them, I told them about PayPal.com and I know they signed up, I am just not sure if they are using it yet. The trick to ordering is to order the 4.75" x 3.5" size and adding a comment for the correct size. If you order online, make sure you put a quantity in the other box, or the comment doesn't come through on the order.
I hope this helps out those looking for a replacement to WriteRights, or just looking for their first screen protector. At the price, you can't lose just to order a few and try them out!
