Refills- not sure. The pen stylus doesn't come with any instructions and I don't see any way of removing the ink from it (it appears sealed at the back). You might be able to yank it out through the front, I'm not really sure. I don't expect to use it for writing a whole lot, just for when I need to sign something or write a quick little note.

The top on the pen stylus is shorter than the top on the deluxe stylus. Most of the "button" fits in the silo for the stylus. It sticks out a very small bit.
