mavidal, i'm not trying to "trash" nexian or their product. i am merely passing on my experiences and opinions about it onto others. their customer service was great when i had to return my unit. i was just disappointed that they stopped shipping them without any explaination of why. from reading other posts here, i realized that my problems with the unit was not an isolated one. i waited a long time for the handygps and was disappointed when it finally came out but didn't seem to work for many.
i know that they are shipping right now again and probably worked out all the bugs which is good for them, but now there are other products that are beginning to come out that may be worth the wait. i personally don't think that anyone here has been "trashing" nexian (especially compared to innogear). everything that has been said have been based on personal experiences with their particular unit. good or bad, they have all been "warranted". i know you were lucky to have received one that worked well -- i remember asking you about your experiences with it, that's how i realized that mine was not operating properly, and i thank you for all your help.
i just think that it was a shame that nexian had whatever problems they had, but not to mention their past problems would be wrong. as a consumer, i, too would like to know as much as i can about a product and its company, past and present.
ok, now i'm rambling. but my point is, i don't believe i saw anyone "trash" nexian/handygps with or without "warrant".
