Number one, you could buy a travel charger for a Prism/Pro/Neo and modify your Visor using the instructions found at http://www.felesmagus.com/visor/ -- they're really easy, and they worked great for my Visor Deluxe.
The second idea -- and this is a little harder, because there's not very much free room inside a Visor -- is that you could drill a little hole in the Visor's chassis, install a DC socket, purchase a 5v 500mA power adapter, and follow the instructions on the website I gave you -- only instead of soldering the two diodes to the VDOCK pin of the Visor (see instructions), solder the diodes to the + end of your DC socket, and solder the little metal contact at the base of the Hotsync port to the - end of the socket.
I don't know how dangerous this is -- if you're concerned about damage to your Visor, I'd stick with the first option, because it's tried and tested, and it also works with any charger made for the Prism/Pro/Neo.
Hello!
I have Visor, simple Visor 2MB (now upgraded to 8MB).
And i decide to make internal NiMh/NiCd charger in USB-cradle by using MAX712. IMHO it's safest way.
If someone interest how to do it - let me know
But anyway - thank you for cooperation!
Mihail (aka HSO).
