I have to agree. I just purchased a Platinum and though I would not use WR because of the "hard to read thing". I was very careful. However I still got a huge diagonal scratch across my screen. (I blame it on my wife) Anyways, I went back to using the Write Rights because I just can't stand scratches on my screen.
